Duties:
In this role of Technical Account Systems Engineer, will be required to gather requirements, design, architect, collaborate with the Product team, implement, test and deploy to a production environment solutions that specifically address the following:
Products to be worked on:
Supplier Rateplan competitiveness evaluation platform: This solution envisages ingestion of multiple internal and external data feeds and will create a simplified dashboard for the Supply team to action with the Supply partners to ensure that accurate pricing is provided to Hotel Trader by all of its supply side partners
Anomaly Detection and Action Items System: Augment the existing Supplier dashboards by implementing an anomaly detection algorithm that generates periodic prioritized actionable items for the Supply team to action with the Supply partners.
Platform Client vs Direct Client performance variance discovery system: A platform where demand side team is able to compare search, quote and book performance between Direct and Platform connected client partners through an algorithm based real-time data comparison and anomaly detection platform.
Mapping Platform Solution: Integrated platform that incorporates data from 3rd party industry standard mapping providers (GIATA, Vervotech) to enable real-time distribution of mapping solutions for Hotel Trader clients.
Specific Duties:
- Assess and calculate the technical features of a project plan to ensure that the systems engineering procedures are operating correctly.
- Interface with Client partners and provide an API interface or integrate to the client API interface that allows for rapid and ongoing discovery of product placement on the shelf of the client for efficient distribution and revenue optimization
- Standardize and automate processes and monitoring using scripting technology
- Lead product development from conception to launch to create better transparency, data visibility and actionable reports.
- Focus on workflows, optimization methods, and risk management tools for given projects
- Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their top business goals and priorities.
- Translate customer requirements to developer specifications and oversee execution of new features and enhancements
- Participate in issues and act as an advocate for customers during the triage and resolution of high severity cases, driving business reliability and customer satisfaction
- Attain Trusted Advisor status with both key business and technical decision makers.
- Communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively adjust language to the target audience (CTO, CEO, Investors, Developer, etc.)
- Collaborate with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Craft custom scripts, reducing requirement of human interaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in jobs such as Technical Account Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Professional Services Engineer, or related job. Experience must be in the travel technology space.
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Full Stack Development (OOP,CSS/HTML), Consulting S&P 500 firms, Technical and/or Solutions Architecture.
- 2 years of experience in Object Oriented Programming in travel technology space and leading product development from conception to launch.
- 2 years of experience with database, API integrations and data analytics (e.g MS SQL Server Manager/Snowflake/AWS, Rest/SOAP API, Postman, Tableau/PowerBI).
- 3 years of experience in supporting S&P 500 partners’ needs at the intersection of commercial and technical solutions.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
